It’s been a busy few months at Wild Dog & we have had our paws on various projects.
First up was the annual Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival whihc was back & in full swing again after a bit of a COVID lie down. Alongside our usual highlights film, this year we packaged up daily presentations from some of the festivals star authors for ‘as live’ broadcast on the festivals YouTube & Vimeo channels.

Since then we’ve worked on various projects for BBC News & BBC Breakfast (including a piece on the pulling of the £20 COVID universal credit uplift), as well as various other projects including a piece about local responses to climate change as part of COP26 for our chum Eogahn O’Reilly at Company Films.
This month, head bottle washer, Andrew Johnstone has also been flying the Mavic 2 Pro drone & swinging boom for Peach TV‘s Rich Perry on a project for Singapore down in Cornwall and lighting interviews for Simon Vacher on a doc about emerging songwriter & artist Garfield Mayor.
Simon’s project saw us working in the studio of legendary audio mastering engineer Simon Heyworth (George Harrison, King Crimson, Depeche Mode etc) up on Dartmoor. We were shooting a ‘down the lens’ style interview using an Eye Direct interview box that Simon rented in from our pal Chris Yacoubian at the Cornish Camera Company, as well as a locked off B-Cam.

With these projects in the bag, we’re moving on to a feature doc edit and there are several other shoots in the pipeline in the run up to Christmas.
